October Night
Buddy, the stag who grew up in the backyard, and the cardinal guy from my back porch, who hatched here in the hedges, return in "October Night." They are looking at their reflection in Lake Springfield. The magic and joy of living in these woods. Buddy is one of those characters who enjoys spending time with his aunts and sisters and lacks the aggressiveness of the itinerant stags. Wassily Kandinsky, one of my painter heroes, inspired this composition.
